It’s good to know your roots. Great games define the electronic entertainment genre, and still more titles barely deserve the classification of “game”, their gameplay and design being so universally deplored. Yet there still exists a middle ground of games that slipped through the cracks, denied the recognition of their strengths, the extent of their innovation.
