This video is fantastic. It’s a tour through Flickr’s Creative Commons collection of photos.
For the uninitiated, sharing your photos on Flickr as Creative Commons (CC) allows others to reuse them for varying purposes based on how much control over the original content you as the owner choose to relinquish. It’s a really innovative and progressive way to look at digital media and is giving artists the kind of freedoms necessary to create really wonderful pieces. Apparently Coulton gathered a few CC pics that he especially liked and weaved them into a musical narrative. This video had me doubled over laughing at its creator’s ingenuity and wit.
