In a clever act of viral marketing, the folks that make AppZapper are offering the application for free if they can get their product blogged about on at least 259 blogs by the end of the day today. I tried a demo of this app a couple of months ago and I can definitely recommend it. For as easy as it is to install applications in OS X, making sure that you have completely gotten rid of them during an uninstall can be tricky at best. AppZapper is like a universal uninstaller. When you are done trying out a program, you just drag it over to the zapper window and it will seek out all unrelated files and remove them from your system. If you have a blog, give them some support and throw up a post. If enough people do, we’ll all be sitting pretty with a new ray-gun shaped application!

UPDATE: As of 8:00 pm EDT, the app is down to $0.65 (they are taking $0.05 off for each blog post). Looks like they are going to make it!
