That’s it, I’m calling it. As of April 10, 2006, my faithful 3G iPod has been diagnosed with the dreaded click of death. For now I can listen to the music that I’ve already loaded, but any attempt to load new music results in an infinite click that crashes iTunes. It’s a sad moment that some even compare to the loss of a dear pet, but it’s times like this that demand a strong upper lip.

I guess I need to start shopping for a new puppy with which to stifle my grief. What do you guys think? I’m leaning towards the flash based nano, but that’s not to say the copious drive space of the Video isn’t appealing.
