We love the web.

Evolution of Dance

This clip has been making its way ’round these here internets and I thought it was worthy of sharing with those at the ‘pod on their way out for a hot weekend. I guarantee that everyone has busted out at least one or two of these moves at some point in their lives!

Google Notebook Goes Live

Google’s latest service offering, Google Notebook seems to have gone live this week to little fanfare. The service acts as a Firefox or IE extension and allows you to make notes and capture URLs while surfing around the web. It also does a surprisingly good job adding pictures into your notes, utilizing a simple drag-and-drop procedure. Notes can be private or public, allowing for simple sharing similar to del.icio.us though with a much more attractive interface. Once the extension is installed, a “Note This” option is added to the user’s right click contextual menu. Adding a note from a webpage is as simple as highlighting a block of text (pictures included) and clicking this option.

Pass notes!

Behold: The Monowheel

The search for alternative modes of transportation continuesEasy Rider with the invention of the Monowheel. The creator of this single-wheeled marvel has reached speeds of up to 57mph, setting the land speed record for a one wheeled vehicle. The inventor is from Walled Lake, Michigan and has been tinkering with the idea for the past 30 years. It sure does look a lot more comfortable than the one Mr. Garrison invented on South Park. Check out the Detroit Free Press video after the jump!

When Creativity Runs Dry

The The?

I was going to try to think up a witty retort to this particular vanity plate, but it’s actually just stupid. Oh well.
