Behold: The Monowheel

The search for alternative modes of transportation continues with the invention of the Monowheel. The creator of this single-wheeled marvel has reached speeds of up to 57mph, setting the land speed record for a one wheeled vehicle. The inventor is from Walled Lake, Michigan and has been tinkering with the idea for the past 30 years. It sure does look a lot more comfortable than the one Mr. Garrison invented on South Park.
