We love the web.

Back from India

Lodi Gardens, New DelhiI got back from India last weekend, returning from an amazing three weeks of travel and new experiences. I didn’t manage to blog on Crashpod about any tech discoveries, but then, there wasn’t much to say from that angle. The spotty web access we were able to find from time to time consisted of narrowband connections and Windows 98 machines with broken keyboards. Even so, we managed to knock out a few thoughts while we were traveling over at Blogspot. Experiencing a place so different requires some time to digest upon returning so I have decided to keep this Blogspot page up and contribute additional thoughts to it now that we are back.

If you are interested in the region, you can see photos from the trip at this Flickr Pool and some short videos over at our YouTube Group. Not all of the videos and photos have been uploaded so keep an eye on these pages for more to come. In addition, you can see the page we created while planning our trip here. This page contains our itinerary along with links to Wikipedia entries for the different cities we visited and even a Google Earth flyover of our trip.

Meet the iPhone

We’re not going to pretend we have anything to say about Apple’s new bombshell that hasn’t been said a thousand times before, so we’ll cut to the chase: it’s here. It’s awesome. We want it.

MacWorld San Francisco: 2007

Apple CPU imageApple fans the world over await this year’s MWSF with bated breath, as not only are we going to hear news about OS 10.5 “Leopard” and the iTV, but the rumor mills have been spinning full bore with speculation that Stevie J will finally unleash some sort of Apple branded Cellphone on his throngs of faithful minions.

The prospect of getting an iPhone seems pretty small to me, as Apple has said time and time again that it doesn’t see a viable market for such a device. Still, we’ve been surprised before, so only time will tell. Have a look at the links below to follow the news, it’s sure to be an interesting week!
